New Year, New Album!Although recording started in June last year for Diskordian's 4th studio album, we have already done loads more on it this year! In fact we have cleared our diaries of gigs for the next few months so that we can get it finished, hopefully by the end of 2009. (Our next currently booked gig is 2 April if you're interested!)It's still in the early stages but the idea at the moment is to have 15 tracks in total: 5 brand new ones (including Everything but the Truth and Clear Water - our new acoustic track), 5 reworked versions of popular tracks (including the new version of Angry Song) and 5 live tracks. Watch this space for more details as and when they are decided!! Diskordian played Islington Carling Academy Mainstage!That's right, in case you didn't hear, Diskordian played a storming gig at the prestigious Carling Academy, Islington on Sun 30 November 2008, when they got through to the finals of the Breakout Maldives Festival . This was a battle of the bands event hosted by Jar Music Group.If you missed it, you can find our review on the live page. As well as that, we hope to have a live video from the event on this website very soon! Oh yeah, the gig is also going to be broadcast on MTV Asia and TV Maldives so you may be able to catch us on there. We might even get a new video on there at some point..
Other NewsAs well as regular full band gigs, we are continuing to perform at the ever popular acoustic open mic night at The Bull inBarton-Le-Clay, Beds. It's every Thursday night and features some amazing local talent playing to a chilled out and friendly crowd. We will be there every fortnight (check out the Live page for details) so please come along and join in the fun! If you want to show off your own musical talents you are always welcome to join in!

At the moment, though, it is only available from the band, priced £6.
